Laser Safety Events This Week

 There are two events this week of possible interest to experimental labs in the CPLC:

1. On May 6, Kentek will have the Photon1 van parked on the North Quad south of the Beckman Institute. The van is packed with examples of laser safety accessories from eyewear to curtains. Come out between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for demonstrations of their products and talk to laser safety specialists.

2. The Radiation and Laser Safety Committee will hold an open forum on Monday, May 6, at 2:15 p.m. in room 138 of the Edward R. Madigan Laboratory to address questions and concerns of members of the campus community.
