3rd Midwest Single Molecule Workshop 2014
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
August 4-5, 2014
Alice Campbell Alumni Center
Please join us for the 3rd Midwest Single Molecule Workshop, to be held Monday-Tuesday Aug. 4-5, 2014 at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, IL. This workshop gathers the leading researchers in single-molecule biophysics from all across the Midwest (loosely defined) to share ideas, research, and resources. This year, the workshop will be hosted by the NSF-funded Center for the Physics of Living Cells (CPLC) and the Department of Physics at the University of Illinois.
The past two workshops, held at Washington University, St. Louis (2010) and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (2012) were very popular and attracted over 100 participants, and we anticipate a similar audience this year. The two-day meeting will feature a keynote address by Prof. Stephen Kowalczykowski from the University of California, Davis, short talks, and posters selected from submitted abstracts.
We hope you will be able to join us for what should be a stimulating workshop on single-molecule biophysics.
