Marquette University is looking for a postdoctoral fellow or a research scientist who is well trained in TIRF microscopy and can expertly handle the maintenance of the instrument. The scope of this position is rather unique as it will have three elements:

  1. The person will be the prime contact for doing experiments on the instrument. So, they will get to work with everybody on campus (so, the possibility of numerous publications in multiple fields exist).
  2. She/he will handle all the single molecule experiments on both by NIH and DOE funded projects. The potential to do something amazing with respective to positioning themselves for a future academic position exists.
  3. She/he can also develop a course and teach at Marquette if they are so inclined.

Applications from International candidates are welcome. Interested candidates can get in touch with Edwin Antony Assistant Professor, Biological Sciences at Marquette University.
